The Children’s Museum at Holyoke has partnered with the esteemed team at Learn in Motion to create a program specially designed for families with a child affected with sensory challenges, such as Sensory Processing Disorder or Autism (official diagnosis not required).

Our Sensory Sunday program is held on the first Sunday of each month during special off hours. For sensory-sensitive visitors, our main museum space has a more calming environment for your child with sensitivities to engage and explore. For sensory-seekers, Learn in Motion’s Chris & Hope Ross-Gibaldi are on hand to guide your child through a specially crafted sensory obstacle course. There are also handouts with tips on how you can best cater to your child’s unique ways of learning and living.

Here at the Children’s Museum at Holyoke, we strive to be an impactful community resource for your family. It is our hope that this program allows families who may typically avoid crowded or stimulating environments to come and join in on the fun.

Time: 10am- 11:30am

Admission:‍

• $8 children and adults, $5 for Seniors (62+), Children under 12 months, FREE
• $3 per person for up to 4 children and adults with MA EBT card and ID
• FREE for active military members with military ID
• 1/2 price admission for MA Teachers Association teachers with valid MTA ID card and photo ID
