Birthday Parties At The Museum

We are pleased to have two great spaces to offer birthday parties at the museum!
Be sure to book early! We suggest booking at least 2 months in advance.
We do have some flexibility with times for weekdays, holidays and school vacations.
A $100 deposit is required for all party reservations and Members receive $25 off party rentals!

                          A Party Buddy to assist you throughout your event and to help bring in your                            party supplies

Expo Room

The larger of the available rooms.

Private Parties

Include two hours of open play with the whole Museum to yourselves.

Fridays 4‑6pm or 5-7PM
Saturdays 4‑6pm
Sundays 10am‑12pm

For up to 20 children (with up to 2 accompanying adults per child)
Additional children can be added for $9 per child

Party Includes:
  • Children’s Museum t-shirt for the birthday child
  • Use of the Exploration Room with full sized refrigerator
  • A Birthday Buddy to assist with setup, clean-up, cake/food handling
  • Two hours of open-play with the whole Museum to yourselves!

Members: $425
Non-Members: $450

Open Parties

Include two hours of open play while the museum is open to the public.

Saturdays 10am‑12pm or 1‑3pm
Sundays 1‑3pm

For up to 20 children (with up to 2 accompanying adults per child)
Additional children can be added for $9 per child

Party Includes:
  • Children’s Museum t-shirt for the birthday child
  • Use of the Exploration Room with full sized refrigerator

Barnyard Room

This adorable room has a whimsical farm theme complete with denim curtains and country scene painted on the wall. Though the smaller of the two birthday rooms, the barnyard room promises just as much fun!

Please note

  • $100.00 deposit required for all Parties. The remaining balance is due on or before the date of the Party.
  • No food or drink allowed on the museum floor besides water. Food and beverages may be consumed in Party Room only.
  • If party guests want to stay and play after the party has ended, they must:
    - Check with the cashier to make sure the museum is not already at capacity
    - Pay regular admission
