It's that time of year again! We are proud to be a Blue Star Museum! This program led by the National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families is designed for those in active service and their loved ones. From Armed Forces Day, May 17th, to Labor Day, September 1st, CMH will open it's doors for free admission to guests with an active military ID and their accompanying family members. See you soon!

CMH will be closed all day, Wednesday April 30th for a Private Event. We will be back with our regular hours on Thursday, May 1st!

See what the Museum has to offer this April break! Starting Saturday 4/19, then closed for Easter 4/20, and diving back into the fun on Monday 4/21 through Saturday 4/26!

Through a partnership with the MassMutual Center, CMH is offering our patrons a chance to enter a raffle for 4 free tickets to see PAW Patrol Live! A Mighty Adventure, at the MassMutual Center on April 22nd OR April 23rd!

Fancy Steps

This annual event features twelve local celebrities who partner with professional dancers from Ballroom Fever as they showcase their talents at a dance exhibition before nearly 500 people.

We are so excited and honored to host NETS 2024 Artist in Residence Emma Aiken for the opening of her gallery exhibit; adventures in nature journaling. Drop in any time from 9:30 AM-2:00PM on October 12th to see the art, engage in workshops, and pick up a free zine made by the artist!

Get ready for Fall Fun Fest on Saturday, September 28th from 1 P.M-5 P.M. We’re partnering with The Holyoke Merry-Go-Round to bring you a day full of excitement and family fun!‍

A big thank you to the Highland Street Foundation for sponsoring another year of free admissions around Holyoke! From 9AM-4PM Tuesday, August 13th, entry to the Children's Museum at Holyoke will be free!

You're invited to CMH's 2nd Annual Summer Book Fair on July 26th-28th from 10AM-4PM! Entry into Book Fair in upstairs the Picnic Area is free to all, including all upstairs activities. All books are pay what you choose, no one will be turned away for lack of funds! Every family receives 1 free raffle ticket upon entry, with the option to purchase more for additional chances to win!

Join us for a visit from author Jarrett Lerner as he leads a fun and free comic making workshop for kids! Stick around for the premier of his brand new book, Nat the Cat has a Snack! Odyssey Books from South Hadley will have copies of the new book available for purchase at the museum!

CMH will be closed on Saturday, May 4th. Come visit us at our booth at Hampshire Pride and watch us march in the parade!

The museum will close at 3PM on Thursday, 4/25. We are revving up for the launch of our new exhibit, the Automotive TECHnician center! We'll see you again at our regular hours during the weekend. Be sure to visit us on 4/27 for the community launch of our exhibit!

The Children's Museum at Holyoke is thrilled to announce the opening of a groundbreaking exhibit: The Automotive TECHnician Center, presented by Marcotte Ford. This eagerly anticipated addition marks the museum's first new exhibit since 2018, bringing innovation and hands-on learning to children of all ages.

Due to the snowstorm, the Museum will be closed today, Tuesday, March 14th. We will reopen tomorrow, Wednesday, March 15th, at 9 am.

The museum will be closed for annual updates, Saturday, September 10-September 30, 2022.

On September 12, 2021, The Children’s Museum at Holyoke celebrated 40 years of inspiring minds and giving space for families to come together and learn together. 40 years! It was a wonderful day full of fun, excitement, and above all, GRATITUDE!
