The Children’s Museum at Holyoke and local artist Meem Mattei have been working on bringing to life a fantastical art gallery space using recycled materials. Sponsored by Mass Cultural Council.
Both workshops will be led by Meem. Young guests who want to learn papier-mache and the importance of recycling and repurposing are welcome to visit and get creative with us! The workshops are free with admission!
Items used in the exhibit are pieces we have found in the museum!
December 6th's workshop will included macheing mountains!
December 13th's workshop will included making hanging paper art to decorate Meem's massive tree art installation!
