For the second year in a row the Children’s Museum at Holyoke is a recipient of an Explore Science: Earth and Space Toolkit from the National Informal Stem Education Network. In February, we’ll receive components for a variety of science-related activities created by the NISE Network in collaboration with NASA. These hands-on activities are designed to teach children about “science, technology, and society.” Our 2018 Toolkit included tools and experiences related to planets, rockets, magnets, temperature, light, motion, and more! We can’t wait to see what the 2019 Toolkit includes!
We’ll be rolling out Toolkit activities throughout the first half of 2019, so keep an eye on our website and social media for upcoming activities and bring your young scientists to the museum for these fun experiences!
