444 Dwight Street, Holyoke, MA 01040

If you do not see your desired time slot available, please call us to check availability.

Sadly, due to technical issues we are postponing our reopening to Tuesday, August 25th for museum members and to the public beginning Wednesday, August 26th

We are so excited! The Museum has been so quiet without you! We have worked very hard to get ready to welcome you back. There are changes, but the Museum you know is alive and well and (almost) ready for you to come play!

Here's everything you need to know.

We’re Playing Safely!

  • The Museum will open with significantly reduced capacity so you can enjoy a safe and fun visit with family and friends.
  • All visitors and staff, with the exception of children under two years old will be required to wear a mask.
  • Our cleaning practices have been further enhanced. Cleaning will happen before, during and after your visit.
  • New signage has been placed throughout the museum as reminders to wash hands and social distance.

Online Ticketing/Reservations

The Museum will be open for admission by reservation only. In the event that the reservations are not full we may be able to take walk ins.

We will have the following time slots:

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
OPEN
9am-12pm and 1-4pm
CLOSED
12-1pm for cleaning each day

Saturdays
OPEN
10am-12pm and 1-4pm
CLOSED
12-1pm for cleaning

Sundays - OPEN 12-4pm (two slots)

COVID-Clause Waiver Form

Each member of your group will need to complete a waiver in order to be admitted to the museum. Minors must have a waiver completed by a legal guardian; even if that minor is responsible for your group.  To make the check-in process as quick and smooth as possible, we recommend completing this waiver prior to arriving to the museum.

View and print complete waiver in English and Spanish here.

Exhibits

Most of our exhibits will be open for play. We will have limited amounts of pieces out at each exhibit so that we may swap and clean throughout the day.

Please note that while the Water Table will be open for play, we will not be providing any smocks. Please bring extra clothes if you feel it is necessary.

A suggested traffic pattern map will be available for you to follow as you navigate through the museum.

Food and Drink

The picnic area upstairs will be closed for the time being. Food can be eaten outside in the park. We will only be selling bottled water at this time.

Patience and Respect

We are most appreciative of your support and we want to make your visit as safe, easy, and enjoyable as possible. Let’s all practice patience and respect as we come together again to enjoy the Museum.
