2019's First Night Jr saw the year out with a bang and a ball drop, all in time for dinner and normal bedtimes for tired kiddos! Starting at 10am, the air was buzzing with energy at the Children's Museum, the Merry-Go-Round, Holyoke Heritage State Park, and the Volleyball Hall of Fame, as families poured in for the last big event of 2019. Anna, Elsa, and Baby Shark ruled the morning as they met many admirers and enjoyed the attractions around the park. Face painting was a huge hit all day, and musical entertainers Roger Ticknell and Jordan Johnson's Drummin & Hummin show kept small bodies movin' and groovin' through the middle of the day. Woody and Buzz stole the attention in the afternoon, while visits with reptiles and balloon hats topped off the fun. All four venues around Holyoke Heritage State Park stayed busy through the 4pm hour, when Captain America and Holyoke Representative Aaron Vega dropped the ball to celebrate the start of the new year! Thanks to all who came out for another fun year of First Night Jr!
