Volunteering

Volunteers are vital to the life of the Museum. Opportunities are numerous and flexible enough to fit all talents and schedules. Have fun, keep busy, stay young, and learn new things!

Adult volunteer opportunities include (but are not limited to):

  • Assisting with marketing and fundraising
  • Front desk staff
  • Building exhibits
  • Presenting one-time or ongoing workshops
  • Newsletter development

Suggest something suited to your talents!
Call Dayna Abrazinski, Education & Programs Coordinator, 413-536-KIDS.

Junior Volunteers

This program gives young people (ages 10 to 17) the opportunity to work closely with Museum professionals, and learn about themselves and their abilities—and the Children's Museum—in a variety of programs and activities.

For more information, call Dayna Abrazinski, Education & Programs Coordinator, 413-536-KIDS.

Thanks to a Community Block Grant given to the Children's Museum at Holyoke by the city the Junior Volunteers are once again active at the museum. If you are between the ages of 10-17 and would like to help out at the museum please call Dayna at 536-7048 ext 207. So far this season the junior volunteers have painted a mural in our new picnic pavilion painted the kitchen and made crafts on the floor with our visitors.
